We’re looking for a Product Designer with  5+ of experience who will lead UX concepting and strategy, qualitative research, and visual design execution. You’ll bring a strong mix of leadership, curiosity, and advocacy for your end users and design craft. You’ll also be an integral part of the end-to-end product development cycle and will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Data, UXR, Medical, and Legal.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take a leading role in solving design problems at the heart of a complex healthcare delivery platform
  • Set and raise the quality bar for design and influence through mastery of craft and problem-solving 
  • Make data-driven decisions that translate business goals into product experiences, distill complexity into simple and elegant patient experiences
  • Inspire and advocate by presenting design rationale and evidence collected from end users to cross-functional teams and senior leaders
  • Lead all phases and aspects of design from vision, strategy, research, ideation, UX architecture, flows, interactions to wireframes, testing, and polished visual design
  • Create unified end-to-end healthcare professional and patient experiences 
  • Implement, maintain and evolve the Ro Design System

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 5+ years of experience shipping high-impact and successful web applications at large companies and/or within maturing software platforms of many teams or squads collaborating
  • Proven design leadership in multidisciplinary teams
  • Depth in experience and a passion for understanding your user’s needs through qualitative research methods
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Mentorship and coaching experience to inspire and influence other designers
  • A pattern of curiosity and skill-building over time (growth mindset)
