We are seeking someone with demonstrated leadership in digital and creative design to help deliver our website’s overall design, a key focus and growth driver within the business. You’ll report to the Sr Manager of Product and be responsible for creating holistic digital aesthetics and visual experiences that translate across channels.

Your role as Product Designer is to be responsible for all customer research, UX/UI and end-to-end website design. You will synthesise data analysis, customer testing and feedback and input from business leaders to ensure PANGAIA’s digital presence delivers value for the business and the customer. You will ensure the short- and long-term objectives and missions of PANGAIA are woven through our digital products and deliver a website that is reflective of a flagship shopping destination for our customers. You’re someone concerned with how a website looks, keeping the customer at the centre of all decisions and delivering designs that drive inspiration.

Requirements

• Define and lead the execution of PANGAIA’s UX strategy and design process from start to finish with support from wider product team
• Work with cross functional development team partnering with Product Managers and Engineers to drive the product strategy.
• Work cross functionally with Brand, Creative and other designers across the company to ensure a consistent on-brand experience across all digital touch points.
• Own the customer research approach, gain a deep understanding of our customers through leading quantitative and qualitative research to ensure proposed solutions will move the needle on the relevant KPIs. This includes defining the approach and required level of customer research for the problems we are solving for.
• Create prototypes storyboards, screen flows and any other deliverables that will ensure the story of your design and research is being told
• Be a UX and Product evangelist within the company, creating engaging user research summaries that define the problem to be solved / opportunity exposed and the potential solutions.
• Creating engaging ways to ensure all stakeholders, including ELT, understand the user research conducted and the import
• Create ways to share your research findings with the wider company
• You should have strong typography skills with an eye for composition and layout, and an appreciation for brand guidelines.
• You will continually iterate and improve the customer user journey by identifying customer pain points and problems through various research and testing methods, and then implementing design solutions in partnership with the tech and trade team to overcome them.

·Involved in (and need to balance the needs of) a wide range of projects and executions, with timelines ranging from the immediate to the long term.

• Validate ideas and designs using user testing, split A/B tests and product performance through implementation of event tracking tools and analytics.
• Partnering with the Trade Manager and Digital Product Manager you will help shape the dev agency tech roadmap, helping define the workplan and ensuring that on-site feature and functionality enhancements are carried out to improve the customer experience.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for work
