Product Designer, Orchestrate

We’re looking for people who are driven by collaborative and creative environments to develop simple, innovative, and beautifully designed products that customers love to use. You’ll be joining the Orchestrate area, which is focused on enabling teams to set up and continuously improve their workflows end to end, so they can streamline execution. You’ll play an important role in contributing to the Workflow organization’s mission to make the process of getting work done efficient, effective, and delightful.

As part of a product-driven and design-led company, you will play a key role in a small team of Product Designers owning core product development, from inception to iteration and post-launch reflection. Asana’s Product Design team is a tight-knit, collaborative group of designers from a wide range of backgrounds who love combining research, data insights, and peer feedback into a user-centered design process. What you’ll achieve

• Deliver high-quality, delightful, and easy to use design – thinking in terms of systems, not just screens
• Design and prototype ideas quickly, and connect regularly with customers to validate product directions
• Participate in design critique and present work regularly in product leadership feedback meetings
• Partner closely with our UX researchers, PMs, and engineers as you build and ship solutions

About you

• 4+ years relevant design experience at a product-driven company, with a strong portfolio and a track record of shipping and iterating on high-quality work
• A deep understanding of the product development process, and the ability to drive design from discovery and problem definition to interaction and visual design
• Experience closely partnering with cross-functional partners, and the ability to clearly communicate design work with solid rationale informed by research and data
• Creative problem-solver comfortable iterating from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity prototypes with attention to animation and micro-interactions
• Approach problems with curiosity, and excitement to learn and grow your skills
