Product Designer

? About the product team:

You will join a growing team of 5, split into the product squads, and report to the Head of Design. We have today 2 product squads and are willing to add one in 2022.

What you will be doing as a Product Designer:

Working closely with the Head of Design, you will own with your squad of 1 PM and up to 5 Engineers, a large product area and translate a product design vision, feedback and ideas into high-quality product designs.

We will expect from you to:

• Work on design problems from the beginning to end of the cycle
• Work flexibly and autonomously to identify the most feasible and costless design direction, process, and tools to use depending on project constraints and available data, while maintaining our high standards of quality
• Make design decisions with the consciousness of common practices (user research techniques, ergonomy standards, job stories, agile methodologies, content strategy, prototyping, and experimentation)
• Use Mindsay’s design system to craft flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity mockups for your features
• Collaborate closely with engineers as they build and ship ideas to ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience
• Participate on improving the whole team’s work by asking for and offering feedback from other product designers and teammates
• Know how to iterate based on feedback from the whole team
• Own the success or failure of design works and initiate design and engineering sprints to continuously improve shipped work

Must-Have

• 2+ years of experience as an individual contributor role on a product design team for desktop
• Ability to create beautiful high-fidelity mockups of your designs using Sketch, Figma, etc..
• Ability to create prototypes using Figma, Framer, Keynote, HTML/CSS/JS, etc..
• Knowledge of the entire product development processes, from problem definition throughdetailed interactions to visual design
• Experience designing products and complex systems, not just websites
• Experience building user experiences on multiple devices type, from mobile to desktop
• Ability to communicate design work and decisions
• Ability to collaborate with product managers and engineers

Appreciated

• Passion for tech: you are curious to understand how things work and comfortable in a technical environment.
• An interest in language and conversational or voice-based design
• A previous experience in the SaaS ecosystem
• A previous experience working with AI or ML-based projects
• Proactivity
• Openness to criticism and ideas
• Know the basics of coding
• Enthusiasm and positiveness
• Confidence and persuasion skills
