Meetsy.io by Commsor is a tool that curates individual connections within large communities – companies, universities, conferences, non-profits, Meetup/FB/Slack/Discord groups, etc. We're deeply mission-driven and passionate about strengthening communities and fostering meaningful human connection.

Meetsy was acquired by Commsor in June 2021 which surfaces a best of both worlds working culture – a small startup feel with the resources and security of a bigger company.

THE ROLE

• Whereabouts: Fully-remote

• Salary: $90-110k/annually plus equity

• Reporting to: Bradley Tramer, Meetsy GM/Founder

Commsor is looking for a Product Designer to work on Meetsy with a track record of building product for software companies. You will work across the platform building tools that support connectors and Community Managers. You will work iteratively with engineering and product peers, validate ideas and concepts quickly, and help support growing communities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AT COMMSOR?

• Build Meetsy's product collaboratively with engineering.

• Translate user needs to designs that help communities grow.

• Work closely with our internal teams to identify opportunity areas and improve the user experience.

• Research and test experiences with users to validate direction and opportunity.

You're great at communicating, without requiring meetings. If something is unclear you reach out and ask questions. You're comfortable owning, communicating and presenting information on specific projects or initiatives, both in writing and in person.

At all stages of the design process, and in your personal career, you know this is a journey. You're comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. You're comfortable giving and receiving feedback to improve.

? Strategic Impact + Outcome oriented.

Your presence is valued and requested at the strategic level. You will be turning customer problems into business solutions, not be turning use cases into mockups. This means you care about impacting the user, and deploying the right solution.

? Systems Thinking

You know that good design doesn't just work in one isolated, silo'ed experience. You'll help us build the platform Community Leaders use to connect their members. That means helping us build out and maintain our Design System.

TOOLS YOU'LL BE USING

• We use Figma, but any experience using similar tools is great. (Sketch, Illustrator, XD)
