Product Designer, Marketing Tools (Remote)

As a Designer on our Marketing Tools team, you'll be an essential part in defining the future of marketing for Squarespace customers, large and small. You will work with teammates to build tools that empower customers to grow their audiences and communicate effectively in today's digital landscape. You will help Squarespace users understand the value of using campaigns to grow their businesses. You know how to work with user personas and other insights to inform users through complex processes. You enjoy working collaboratively with other Design functions (UX Research, UX Content Strategy) and Product Management and Engineering to build marketing tools our customers will love.

You will report to the Senior Product Designer Manager, Presence.

• Improve existing design solutions while also continuing to evolve our best-in-class experience
• Create rational, articulable, elegant solutions to complex problems
• Think holistically about the user journey and product ecosystem
• Seek to understand the capabilities and technical constraints of the systems with which you'll be working
• Design relevant concepts for the platform that are usable and educational
• Contribute to OKRs, product strategy by working with PM and Engineering partners
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams from concept and discovery through delivery and beyond
• Be data-driven and have an interest how we measure the value of design
• Facilitate user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistency

Who We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience
• Affinity for interaction design and has an eye for subtle details
• Experience in the UX process inclusive of research, visual design and prototyping
• Use a systems approach to design
• Love of iterative development
• Knowledge of current trends in design and technology
• Proficiency in animation tools like Principle and our standard design tool, Figma
• Deep passion for our product and the impact that it has in the world

A portfolio of relevant design work is required for consideration. It should illustrate your role and involvement in solving specific problems.
