At Kard, we are busy creating something pretty new and exciting in our category: a fintech product and brand people actually love and feel connected to. We’re obsessed with the idea of crafting a unique product that can convey emotional connections with our audiences, both teens and adults. We are looking for a product designer who will be taking care of designing and enriching our product and creative assets. 

As Kard’s Product Designer, you will:

- Design our product. You will bring your talent and expertise into building our mobile apps (for teens and parents). You know how to build design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces. You will work closely with our lead product designer on the full design process, from research to building slick UI/UX.

- Implements best-in-class design practices: You make your work scalable. You know how to use and contribute to our design system.

- Contribute to the evolution of our brand identity.  You will ensure that our products’ touch and feel is consistent with our identity in collaboration with our brand designer.

💜 Preferred experience 💜

·       You have at least 2-3  years of experience in a digital or design agency, a tech startup or a tier-1 startup tech company

·       You have a strong portfolio, showing all your different skills

·       Knowledge and experience working with Figma and UI tools

·       Strong attention to details with a pixel-perfect approach

·       Humble and able to take and apply direct feedback

·       Motion skills are a plus

·       You’re excited to help craft the coolest product that exists!

·       You speak both French and English fluently

💜 Recruitment Process 💜

If your application is retained, you will be going through the following process:

- Intro call: a first video-call / interviewwith Jean, Lead Product Designer, to better understand your career plan, create a strong alignment on what we’ll expect from you, tell you more about the way we operate and answer any of your questions (45 mins)

- Case: a fully remote exercise to evaluate your hard skills, followed by a video-call debriefing

- Meet the team: an interview with future team members to discover Kard across all its business lines (1 hour)

- Final interview: a final discussion with Scott, co-founder & CEO (45 mins)
