We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join N26's UX Team, specifically within the Investments Segment. In this role, you will work on self-contained initiatives that may have cross-team dependencies, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences for our financial products, including Crypto, Stocks, and ETFs.

Reporting to the Product Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of investment experiences for our customers, directly impacting key metrics such as Assets Under Custody and Funded Accounts.

N26's UX Team is part of the larger Product & UX organization. We are a multidisciplinary team of 40+ talented individuals (known as "UXers"), who practice Product Design, User Research, UX Writing, and Design Operations. Most of our UXers are distributed across various cross-functional teams, looking after different product verticals. Our team is based in Berlin and Barcelona.

About Investments

As the Product Designer for the Investments Segment, you will play an important role in empowering customers to grow their wealth and achieve their life goals, regardless of their investment experience. 

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teammates, you will contribute to designing exceptional user experiences across various financial products, including Crypto, Stocks, and ETFs. Your work will have a direct impact on key metrics such as Assets Under Management and Funded Accounts, shaping the future of investment experiences for our customers.

Experience & Track Record

• 4–5+ years designing digital products for mobile and web in cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to handle mid-complexity initiatives from start to finish

Design Craft

• Strong foundation in interaction and visual design principles
• Consistently produces high-quality, polished outputs that balance aesthetics and usability

Research & Insight

• Skilled in planning and executing end-to-end research (e.g. usability tests, interviews, surveys)
• Uses insights to inform and validate design decisions throughout the process

Strategic Contribution

• Shapes functional goals and aligns projects with team vision
• Supports short-term planning by identifying risks and priorities
• Aligns work with business metrics (e.g. conversion rate, assets under custody, bouncing rate)
• Prioritises tasks based on potential business impact

Communication & Collaboration

• Excels in storytelling, simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences
• Collaborates effectively across functions, ensuring alignment on goals
• Proactively resolves minor conflicts and manages cross-team dependencies

As Product Designer at N26, you will…

• Drive the end-to-end design process: Take full ownership of the design cycle for key initiatives, from initial research and ideation to creating scalable, polished solutions that are ready for implementation.
• Translate complex insights into strategy: Plan, conduct, and synthesize insights from qualitative and quantitative research to directly influence product priorities and address broader strategic questions.
• Design scalable and cohesive experiences: Create intuitive, visually engaging, and adaptable interfaces for both mobile and web, ensuring your work strengthens our NXD (N26 Experience Design) System.
• Elevate the team's craft: Lead by example in design quality and actively contribute to design critiques. You'll use your expertise to mentor other designers and drive craft excellence across projects
