Product Designer Intern

As a Product designer at Strapi, your main goal is to optimize the experience of the Strapi users by understanding the pain points of the community and leading solutions. The Design System will help you keep consistency across the product and evangelize good design practices to the stakeholders. You will be part of the Product organization.

You will work closely with product & brand designers, product managers, front & back-end developers, as well as the Chief Product Officer. You will have the opportunity to discover and get used to cross-team projects when Product meets Marketing, User Success, Sales, Documentation, etc.

· We are a team of product & brand designers on a mission to design the future of content.

· Each designer works in their own squads alongside a Product Manager and engineers.

· We are the maintainers of the Product Design System. We improve and maintain it for the squads and the community to enjoy.

· The Design Studio is part of the Product organization and participates in all its rituals and processes.

This role is remote.

To ensure +/- 4 hours from CET time.

Iteratively design & prototype new features and enhancements for the Strapi product while using our Design System.

Work closely with stakeholders (designers, engineering, product management, ...) on technical challenges at a fast pace.

Present your work (mostly asynchronously) to stakeholders and incorporate their feedback into an iterative process.

Stay in touch with Strapi users.

You are at ease with design tools like Sketch, Figma, Framer, AdobeXD, etc.

You like to solve problems and challenge yourself.

You are a team player and have great communication skills (empathy, writing, listening).

You have experience working with developers.

You are familiar with the tech field or are interested in it.

You have a great English level.

Bonus if you are familiar with CMS and Open-Source.

This process tends to take 2-3 weeks max, but happy to adapt to your specific needs.
