Product Designer

Insight is an iOS browser with powerful, easy-to-make extensions. The internet isn't one size fits all, your mobile browser shouldn't be either. Insight lets you deeply customize your search and browsing experience — allowing you to just search sources you trust, and browse the internet the way you want. You can create extensions easily and quickly on your phone, or we suggest the most useful ones as you browse.

Insight is a YCombinator backed company that's based around the world. You'll be a part of a small but scrappy team that's reimagining how web browsing is done in 2021. You'll be responsible for thinking through which problems to solve, and owning the solution from start to finish. You'll think through complex product decisions, develop a strategic understanding for what the best solution is and quickly ship new features and improvements by collaborating cross-functionally with the rest of the team.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact opportunities for the product

• Design features to improve overall user experience and towards business goals

• Collaborate with engineers and utilize metrics to develop designs

• Work independently and quickly on multiple projects

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating digital design capabilities with effective mobile apps showcasing effective interaction design and strong visual design

• 2+ years experience designing products

• Ability to reason at a strategic level about product decisions

• Demonstrated record of using data and user feedback to inform design
