Product Designer — Human × Agent Interfaces

Why this role matters

The age of boring SaaS dashboards is over. At 11x.ai we’re inventing the next layer of computing—autonomous digital workers that think, talk, and collaborate. To make them truly useful, we need a designer who can crack three unsolved problems:

1. Invent a new interaction model
   Chat feels clunky, buttons feel cramped. You’ll prototype novel, fluid touch-, voice-, and spatial patterns that let humans guide and inspect agents without slowing either side down.
   

2. Make taste the moat
   When anyone can ship a Shadcn-styled app in 10 minutes using cursor, visual distinctiveness becomes strategy. You’ll craft bold, Xbox-era-level aesthetics—playful, legible, unmistakably ours—without sacrificing speed or accessibility.
   

3. Architect multi-agent collaboration
   The future isn't just one human and one AI—it's teams of humans collaborating with teams of specialized digital workers. You'll design interfaces that enable multiple agents to coordinate with each other and with humans, creating the canvases, timelines, and control towers that make this invisible choreography feel obvious.

What you’ll do

• Prototype the unknown — Rapidly explore new interaction primitives (gestural command palettes, mixed-modality timelines, agent holograms—surprise us).

• Own experiences end-to-end — From napkin sketch to polished, production ship.

• Run scrappy research — Pair with users (both human and agent) to test, measure, and iterate.

• Shape the design language — Build a visual system that stands out in screenshots and scales across dozens of AI teammates.

• Visualize intelligence — Craft dashboards that reveal agent reasoning, confidence, and handoff states at a glance.

• Partner deeply — Sit shoulder-to-shoulder with PM, engineering, and GTM to define roadmaps and ship weekly.

You might be a fit if

• You’ve shipped 3-5 years of complex products—tools, systems, games, or anything that required new UI thinking.

• Your portfolio shows taste: brave typography, unexpected motion, delightful micro-copy.

• You’re at home in Figma, but sketch in code, text, or clay when it’s faster.

• You speak enough React to debate component trade-offs with engineers.

• Ambiguity fuels you; speed excites you; pixel-level craft grounds you.

• AI, LLMs, or agent-based systems make you curious (bonus if you’ve already designed for them).
