Product Designer

About the role

As a Product Designer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team developing our product offering. Specifically for this role, you will define and execute end-to-end design solutions for our core product combining IVF insurance and financing. You will work through the whole experience of signing-up, insurance pricing, credit checks and member onboarding. Success is a well designed user experience measured by customers' love, NPS.

• You are a thoughtful and empathetic person who thinks holistically about the customer journey. In our case, that includes actual fertility treatments (outside of the digital only experience)
• You have the ability to think deeply about product design decisions and aim to create simple, intuitive interfaces and seamless experiences
• You are passionate about building 0 to 1 products and are not blocked by “analysis paralysis” When you don’t have enough data. You find ways to move fast and unblock the team
• You are self-driven and autonomous, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• You thrive when presented with complex ambiguous problems

Your responsibilities will include

• All design deliverables; from initial discovery and user journey mapping through to implementation (including user research, synthesising findings, wireframes, user flows, testing, and validation)
• Running internal workshops and collaborating with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
• Being a strong advocate for the user experience, articulating your views to influence product development at all stages
• Documenting all decisions
• Maintaining and further developing our Design System

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant design experience in digital products (preference for consumer facing) 
• 1-2 years in hiring and developing a team of product designers
• Portfolio demonstrating proven track record of shipping impactful products
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams: engineering, product, marketing, and data science, etc.
• Experience in sketching, creating prototypes, and producing iterative high fidelity design 
• Extreme attention to detail and information hierarchy
• An eye for copy and how it drives user experience
• Strong visual design skills (composition, colours, space, etc…)
• Proficient in Figma, experience using Notion as a Wiki
• Current work authorization required
