Product Designer for Sora Union

We’re looking for a talented Product Designer with strong UX and UI skills to join our team and help our clients build incredible solutions to meet their goals and visions.

To make this possible, we need the right combination of process and people - and that’s where you come in. In this role, you will work on a variety of design projects, from web, mobile apps to brand identity. You should have an in-depth understanding of user experience and be able to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that ensure success.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Defining, developing, and delivering the visual design systems of our products and brands and working with engineers to ensure design integrity.
• Extending, refining, and refreshing existing visual designs and systems.
• Contributing to and improving our process (including best practices, tools, deliverables, and communication.)
• Design simple and elegant user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Conduct user research to understand customer needs and pain points.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
  
  

IDEALLY, YOU’LL HAVE:

• 2-3 years of experience in UX/UI design
• A minimum of B2 English language proficiency.
• Experience and proficiency in Figma design software.
• Experience and proficiency in Adobe Suit (PSD & AI).
• An outstanding eye for detail and consistency, combined with an understanding of branding, typography, color, usability, grid systems and responsive frameworks.
• Strong sense of concept development, in addition to communication, collaboration, research, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Understands the basics of visual design, including typography, layout, etc
• Ability to juggle between multiple projects.

The Product Designer role is a full-time, 6 month contract position initially reporting to a Sora Union Co-Founder, with a direct working relationship with the engineering leader at the client the team is embedded with. This role is a distributed position, and can be based in any location.

Sora Union operates independently in association with All Turtles. We work with a variety of partners and clients, some inside the All Turtles product studio as well as external companies. We expect to convert this role to full-time employment on the Sora Union team at the end of the initial 6 month contracting term.
