Product Designer, Design Systems - Tock (Remote)

The Tock Design Team is looking for a Design Systems Designer! You’ll join a mission-driven design team and company dedicated to supporting restaurants and the hospitality industry. We’re building innovative and powerful tools that fundamentally change how restaurants, wineries, and culinary businesses operate. We’re creating a search and discovery network that connects these businesses with millions of diners around the world, giving consumers a trusted guide to find delicious experiences from destination-worthy and award-winning spots to neighborhood favorites. And we’re growing our design team to make it all happen.

As a Product Designer on the Design Systems team, you will contribute to the evolution of our design system. You'll design foundational patterns, UI components, documentation, tools, and processes that empower product designers and engineers to create consistent, accessible, and high-quality user experiences across both our guest experience and customer dashboard.

The Design Systems Designer position will report to the Director of Design and can be located in Chicago or work remote from anywhere in the USA.

You'll Get To...

• Design and collaborate on the creation of new components
• Write documentation that communicates how components work and how they should be implemented
• Partner with your design teammates on their projects, pushing them to create beautiful UIs that take full advantage of our design system
• Stay up-to-date with current design trends and technologies to constantly propose or question how our team, tools, and product can evolve

Who We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience working within a product design organization 
• At least 1 years of experience contributing to design systems and a portfolio to demonstrate
• You're comfortable prototyping in Figma and code
• You have strong verbal and writing communication skills
