Product designer (Design Systems)

The team

The role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced design system specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's design system “mosaiq”, ensuring that it is cohesive, scalable, and easy to use.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Improve and maintain “mosaiq”, Qatalog’s design system.
• Fine-tune, improve and maintain our components, patterns and “lego blocks”
• Collaborate with the design and engineering team to keep the quality bar high.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and design system best practices.
• Oversee the design system usage and hand-off process.

Requirements

• Passionate about design systems, aesthetic and usability.
• Ability to balance artistic approach and systematic thinking.
• Strong portfolio of design systems and product design work.
• Proficiency in figma.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

• Experience with user research and testing methodologies
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience designing for accessibility
• Understanding of information architecture and interaction design principles
• Experience with design automation and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile development environments
