Product Designer - Design System

We are looking for an experienced product designer to design and iterate on our design system, together with our product teams. You’ll be part of our design system team and will need to collaborate with designers and developers across different teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive experience at Adyen.

What you’ll do 

• Contribute to and maintain a design system. Design and document the components and interaction patterns across all platforms.
• Advocate for UI standards and accessibility with designers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Support and actively engage with users of the design system through multiple forms of communication to ensure a consistent and cohesive experience.
• Present your work effectively and articulately communicate design choices and value to other designers, as well as stakeholders.
• Aim for high transparency, inviting and welcoming feedback and demonstrating an open attitude for collaboration. 

Who you are

• You have past experience in working on a design system in a company of similar size, and you’re able to demonstrate the role you played in it, and the impact that it’s had on the company.
• You have a passion for user experience and system thinking, and can articulate the value a design system plays in it.
• You care about partnering and collaborating with designers and developers to create processes to adopt and contribute to the design system.
• You are a Figma power user.
• You have passion for creating inclusive, accessible products.
• Ability to independently generate pixel-perfect production assets with a superb attention to detail.
• Ability to work well on an egoless, highly collaborative, and cross-functional team
