About our team
The design team at Plaid is made up of product designers, design systems designers, brand designers, researchers, and content strategists who work with our cross-functional partners to create Plaid’s products.
What you will do
We’re looking for an experienced product designer to join our Link success team. We pride ourselves on our product being the easiest way for people to connect their financial accounts to an app. Within the Link Success Team, you will play a critical role in helping users connect their account, working with cross-functional partners to improve the usability of our core experience, in addition to envisioning and creating the next generation of our product.

- Closely collaborating with engineering, product, and marketing team from planning through execution
- Being a tireless advocate for the users and user-centered processes
- Ability to develop insights into consumer behavior from both qualitative and quantitative information
- A proven record of collaboration with cross-functional partners in Product and Engineering
- Contributing to our design culture through collaboration, presenting work, and sharing feedback
- An ability to bring clarity and simplicity to an ambiguous problem space
- Producing high-quality work from wireframes and user flows to pixel perfect design with delightful interactions
- Ability to mentor others within the Design team
What excites us
- 5+ years of experience creating and shipping quality products
- Solid understanding of how to create usable, accessible, and modular designs
- A penchant for utilizing user insights and metrics to guide design decisions
- Being a tireless advocate for the users and user-centered processes
- Experience contributing to or shaping strategy and product direction for core products
- Deep understanding and consideration of business needs, goals, and metrics
- Having a divergent exploratory process with the ability to communicate trade-offs
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and contribute ideas across the entire product development process
- Relevant experience in the Financial Technology industry or with Financial Identity related products is a plus
