Product Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Product Designer to validate the best solutions by constantly iterating on your designs to bring delightful experiences to our users across a variety of personas. Our Product Designer will 

• Collaborate with other teammates to conduct user research to better understand the needs and challenges of our customers

• Translate UX research insights and business requirements into rough wireframes and site maps

• Deliver pixel perfect mockups to the development and business teams to enable progress in each sprint

• Work closely with our product teams to define, build, and release new products and deeper functionality

• Improve the effectiveness of our product team by sharing your knowledge and best practices with others through documentation

• Evolve the design system, visual assets, and components that are used across our web platform

About you

• A keen perspective for good design and attention to detail. A strong desire to drive creativity through an end-to-end UX process

• Excited by a wide surface area of product that would benefit from further Design rigor

• Passion for unpacking and solving complex problems

• Obsession with delighting users

• Embraces collaboration and feedback across disciplines

• Ability to manage and work on multiple projects concurrently and with own initiative

• Ability to evolve the design processes within Convictional

• Have a growth mindset. You are open to accepting feedback and criticisms while also being able to defend decisions confidently. You are a lifelong learner and constantly looking for ways to improve.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products and systems

• Mastery of at least one prototyping tool (Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, etc) as well as knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Graphic design background and Illustrator experience is a bonus

• Track record of simplifying complex user experiences while maintaining capabilities for power users

• Solid understanding of progressive disclosure

• Good understanding of how to create usable, accessible and modular designs

• Experience with B2B, Enterprise tooling, eCommerce or API-driven products is a plus

Compensation

• 120k - 150k + Stock options
