Atomic is a place for anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit to build, launch, and scale products and companies solving painful problems in huge markets.
We are on the hunt for a Product Designer to work directly with our Head of Product to build a Fintech app focused on retail trading! We are in very early stages and are looking for someone who is excited to join us for the early days of our 0-1 journey. We need someone who can take our idea from the whiteboard stage and bring it to life!
We are looking for someone to work with us for 2-3 months at first, to get the entire product designed, and then transition to an "as-needed basis" when the engineering team needs edits or tweaks. At this “stealth” Atomic Fintech startup you’ll work with experts in data, engineering, and operations to bring ideas to life that will help us democratize our financial system.
Still in stealth mode, our company is funded and supported by the resources of Atomic, the venture studio behind Hims & Hers, Homebound, Bungalow, and many others.

Who You Are
- Someone with experience building delightful social apps
- No stranger to translating complex requirements into clean and easy to navigate designs
- Has explored some fintech apps (Robinhood, Coinbase, public, Etoro, etc)
- Located in NYC and open to some in-person collaborations 1-2x per week
- Able to work independently based on the minimal direction
- Whimsical, fun, and bring modern designs that don't feel boring like a Bloomberg terminal
