Product Designer, Content Cards/Push

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Are you a critical thinker? Are you willing to challenge ideas and receive feedback? Are you comfortable with ambiguity? We are seeking a fearless and passionate Product Designer to join Braze’s Content Cards and Push notifications team. 

Product Designers at Braze have the freedom to work on all aspects of the user experience, with particular strength in at least one area of user experience, or service design — user research, user flows, wireframing, diagramming, interaction design, rapid prototyping, design documentation, or motion design, to name a few examples. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You’ll be primarily working on defining and designing high impact features as well as refining the composition and editing experience for our Content Cards and Push Notifications channels. Through research you’ll identify, and prioritize problems to solve and design experiences to offer the best-in-class marketing tools. 

You will be expected to collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, engineers, and your fellow product designers to deliver solutions that make Braze an easier and more enjoyable product to work with. You will need to understand our users and our business, and you will be expected to be an effective verbal and visual communicator.

WHAT CAPTURES OUR ATTENTION

• Significant experience with any aspect of lifecycle marketing
• Advanced degree in HCI, interaction design, or service design
• Portfolio demonstrating the why’s of the design decision supported by user insights, data or technical limitations 
• Experience shipping high impact features 
• Experience working on SaaS products both on web and mobile
• Experience in an Agile organization, working in cross-functional teams / pods / verticals
• Prior experience at high-growth startups
