Product Designer - Bokun (Viator)

Bokun, a rapidly growing subsidiary of TripAdvisor Inc., is a leading reservation system and marketing platform for tours and activities operators worldwide. We empower these operators to streamline their backend operations and connect with an extensive network of online travel websites, facilitating the growth of their businesses.

Bokun is seeking a Product Designer to spearhead design innovation within our organization.

What You'll Do:

• Craft exceptional, user-centric digital experiences within a software product environment.
• Collaborate on and contribute to the development of a design system that standardizes visual styles, UI patterns, and functional logic across our entire product suite.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent consumer experiences by closely collaborating with software engineers and product managers.
• Lead design discussions and champion design thinking within the organization.
• Collaborate closely with a dynamic, entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced environment.
• Design for a complex B2B SaaS platform within the travel industry.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of design experience at consumer-focused brands or agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead product design projects from initial ideation through detailed execution and delivery, including navigation, UI transformations, and screen state variations.
• Experience working in agile teams and the ability to establish design processes from the ground up.
• Proficiency in translating design research, strategic market positioning, and technical requirements into a cohesive design direction, encompassing both visuals and interactions.
• Exposure to data-driven design principles and decision-making processes.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• A portfolio showcasing your contributions to digital products, highlighting originality, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with user research and experience designing for complex SaaS platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency in Figma, the tool we use at the company.
