We’re looking for a Product Designer who’s energized by collaborative and creative environments to develop simple, innovative, and beautifully designed products customers love to use. In this role, you’ll be joining the Adoption & Enterprise pillar and will play an important role in contributing to the Big Org Adoption (BOA) team’s mission to inspire adoption of all users in big organizations. You’ll work on driving engagement, and make Asana a product that the world’s teams can immediately adopt and fall in love with.

Asana is a product-driven and design-led company. As a Product Designer you’ll play a key role in our core product development, from inception to iteration, and post-launch reflection. Asana is helping teams in 190 countries become significantly more productive with our leading work management platform.

We’re a tight-knit, collaborative group of designers from a wide range of backgrounds who love combining research, data insights, and peer feedback into a user-centered design process. We produce designs that are core to the power of our applications

We pride ourselves on having a healthy Designer-to-Engineer ratio that enables you to do your best work on a balanced team. We believe every designer should have the opportunity to grow and learn by utilizing their strengths and nurturing their interests.

What you’ll achieve

  • Deliver high-quality, delightful, and easy-to-use designs – thinking in terms of systems, not just screens
  • Design and prototype ideas quickly, and connect regularly with customers to validate product directions
  • Participate in design critique and present work regularly in product leadership feedback meetings
  • Partner closely with our UX researchers, PMs, and engineers as you build and ship solutions
  • Experience career growth and personal development with world-class mentorship and development programs

About you

  • 4+ years relevant design experience in product design
  • A strong portfolio that showcases a track record of shipping high-quality interaction and interface design work
  • A deep understanding of the product development process, and the ability to drive design from discovery and problem-definition to interaction and visual design
  • Experience driving a human-centered design process, clearly communicating design work with solid rationale informed by research and data, and working collaboratively to ship end-to-end features at scale
  • Creative problem-solving skills that embrace divergent and iterative methods in order to evolve concepts from raw sketches to beautiful polished designs
  • A growth mindset—leading with curiosity and open to feedback
  • A customer-centric approach, eliciting non-obvious customer needs and synthesizing research to gain a deep understanding and narrow definition of a problem
