About the Role

As a Product Designer at Beam, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the user experience for our Beam AI Platform. From conducting UI/UX research to refining design elements, you'll be at the forefront of creating intuitive interfaces that elevate our users' interaction with our product. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building great products, has strong leadership skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Responsibilities

This role will require you to apply your creative talents to shape exceptional user experiences on our Beam AI platform. Your key responsibilities will entail the following:

• Conduct comprehensive UI/UX research to understand user needs and preferences.
• Illustrate design ideas through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Develop high-fidelity wireframes to visualise design concepts and translate insights into intuitive designs solutions that align user expectations with business goals.
• Test designs with users and iterate based on feedback to continuously improve the platform experience and drive engagement.
• Perform design QA to ensure the quality and consistency of the user interface across different devices and platforms.
• Adhere to style standards regarding fonts, colors, and images to maintain brand consistency.
• Contribute to the development of design brand guidelines to streamline the design process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in design or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in product design for software solutions, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Experience conducting UI/UX research and translating insights into intuitive design solutions.
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, StoryBooks, and other UI/UX design tools.
• Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for tech.
