Beacon infuses how Atlassian's red team and larger security intelligence team think and act into a platform that helps security teams manage collaboration risk that grows as your team collaboration grows in Atlassian products.
Who you'll be working with:
- The Point-A designers will report to Aza Damood, Head of Design - New Product Initiatives
- You'll team up with a senior product designer, product managers, engineers, and product marketing managers on Beacon.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Create seamless experiences that directly shape the future of security at Atlassian
- Apply research findings in a relatively new space in security for Atlassian
- Routinely work with senior leadership and founders to showcase your skills and influence important decisions
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Research, customer-facing teams, and designers across Atlassian
- Be a true champion for our users while solving complex problems, with a focus on improving our experience quality
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 3+ years of product design experience
- Proficiency designing with tools such as Figma
- A flexible and iterative approach to working with teams
- Familiarity of design systems and modern visual design practices
- Interest in conducting customer research and applying insights to your work
- The ability to make tradeoffs, solicit feedback, communicate design decisions and facilitate design discussions
