Our Product Design team of 30 product designers, content designers, and developers craft groundbreaking apps that fundamentally transform how industrial work is carried out today. We seek a product designer to work on our core Gen AI-driven features and functionality. This includes AI Agents, Agent Builders, and interactions between users and AI-driven copilots.

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Cognite builds delightful and robust products that enable end users to do their job with ease. You'll also collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and content designers to build delightful and robust products that enable end users to do their job with ease.

A typical day as a Cogniter will contain the following tasks and responsibilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and develop AI-driven experiences
Participate in the whole product design process, from insight to detailed UI design, and from initial concept phase to continuous delivery (DesignOps)
Responsible for mapping, extracting, and prioritizing user needs
Responsible for optimizing end-user workflows and experiences based on identified needs
Participate in testing and validating ideas and solutions with end users

4 + years of experience in software product design or interaction design
A strong passion for design
Motivation for solving complex problems, preferably having solved technical / domain-specific design challenges in the past
Appreciation for the value of cross-functional work
Expert Figma user
