We're looking for someone to participate in all stages of the product development process – from the discovery to the delivery - along with our existing Design team (1 Design Manager, 3 Product Designers and 1 UX Engineer), as well as working in collaboration with our Product Managers, Data Scientists and Software Engineers to make our product grow.

You'll contribute to the definition of the product vision, successfully drive the implementation of new features. and support the technical team to identify potential problems and opportunities.

As an experienced Product Designer, you're driven by goals and are meticulous in your attention to detail - whilst keeping an eye on the overall vision - and as this is a role for pure team players, show a capacity for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

At Akur8, our Product Designer's responsibilities include:

• Analyse user interface problems and design solutions that meet business goals and requirements
• Create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualise and communicate detailed interaction behaviours
• Monitoring user feedback and performing interface adaptations
• Conduct usability testing or other user research tests
• Animation of workshops (brainstorming, design sprints etc.)
• Ensure the clarity of the graphic elements that compose the interface in preparation for deployment by the development team.
• Contribute to our growing design system

Requirements

In order to be considered for this position within our Design team, you will be required to meet all of the following criteria:

• You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in a UX/UI or Design related subject (Cognitive Science, Psychology, etc)
• You're a UX Designer and have at least 3 years postgraduate professional experience with technical projects (B2B or tech)
• You know how to grasp usage and users problems in complex environments and contexts
• You have, through your experience, acquired knowledge of the methods necessary for user profiling (persona), and the creation of usage scenarios and proposals for interaction concepts (information architecture, tree structures, lo-fi prototyping, wireframes, hi-fi prototypes, etc.)
• You have skills in user interface design and you know how to build a design system
• You're proficient in prototyping software (in Akur8 we’re Figma advocates!)

• You have a problem-solver spirit as well as a sense of constructive criticism.
• You're precise, demanding and are not afraid to insist in order to achieve a result in line with user expectations
• You're extremely organised, comfortable with multi-tasking and have a strong ability to prioritise your workload

• You have fluent written and spoken English
