Product Designer

We're seeking a Product Designer who is passionate about crafting intuitive and user-centered digital experiences that drive business results. As a member of our Digital Experiences team you will push the boundaries of the user experience for our commercial enablement products. Within the team you will make a significant impact in product execution and quality.
The Digital Experiences team is responsible for Adyen’s public website, our demo tool, and our brand portal. Each of these products has an internal and external side. Internally we focus on enhancing the editor experience and internal processes for commercial teams, enabling them to make updates to our website or by allowing them to create a demo of Adyen’s product offering to be used in sales conversations and events. Externally we aim to improve user journeys, ensuring visitors can easily find the right information, increasing conversion rates and removing bottlenecks based on both qualitative and quantitative research.
As a product designer you will work closely with engineers, product managers and brand designers to define, test and deploy the desired experiences.

What you’ll do:

• Work alongside product and engineering to think through and strategize the long term vision of our commercial focused products
  
• Validate, experiment with, and simplify complex user journeys across our website, considering the needs of our various personas
  
• Bring design thinking processes and a customer-centric mindset to technical discussions. Be the user champion in all projects
  
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gain deeper knowledge on the problems to solve and gather feedback to improve the user experience
  
• Create wireframes, designs and prototypes to communicate design choices and support development during implementation
  
• Work cross-teams with our brand designers and content writers
  
• Actively use, improve and enrich our design system, ensuring we have consistent messaging across our products
  
• Push boundaries and try out new ideas (and fail) regularly. You have a strong ability to dream big and ship small
  
• Present your work effectively and articulately communicate design choices and value to other designers, as well as stakeholders
  
• Aim for high transparency, inviting and welcoming feedback and demonstrating an open attitude for collaboration.

Who you are: 

• You are highly skilled in designing and validating engaging user journeys (B2B experience is a plus)
  
• You are curious to try new solutions to problems and you’re open to different perspectives
  
• You’re not afraid to speak up or voice potentially bold ideas that you think are important for our users
• You have a solid understanding and experience with collaboration, design and prototyping tools, in particular Figma and Figjam
  
• You have strong knowledge on Design Systems, including how to consume and contribute to them
  
• You thrive working on egoless, highly collaborative, and cross-functional teams
  
• Experience with mobile applications and mixed physical/digital products is a plus.
