As a Product Designer on Trust & Safety (Accounts), you'll help define the future of what “identity” means for millions of players and creators who come to Roblox to express themselves in the communities they love and connect to others every day. We’re reimagining how users build and access their Roblox accounts, and how they recover from account issues. Reporting to the Sr. Product Design Manager for Trust & Safety, you’ll own Account Identity, Integrity, and Security for our entire ecosystem across web, mobile, desktop, console, and VR.
You Will:
- Hit the ground running to audit, strategize, and redesign our existing authentication flows, define and sell your vision, and implement quickly
- Proactively partner with teams building new Roblox platform capabilities
- Ensure our accounts UX decisions are data-driven, backed by UX research, and metrics-focused
- Become a trusted partner by communicating and demonstrating the value of systems thinking and usability through product design
- Demonstrate success as defined by user perception, partner team sentiment, the cohesiveness of the platform experience, impact, consistency, ease of use, and craft and elegance of the final product
You Have:
- 3+ years’ experience in product design, information architecture, UX, or a related field
- Familiarity with UX standard processes and patterns for user accounts
- Excellent visual, interaction design, and prototyping
- Your own design portfolio of products that showcases systems thinking, functionality, clarity despite complexity, usability, and flow across an overall user experience
- Initiative, self-sufficiency, and the desire to co-lead multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment, while adapting when strategy and requirements evolve
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
