Join our team and help us usher the world into Spotify through curiosity, delight, and connection. In this prototyping role, you will be a key contributor to a 0-1 design team building the future of deep audio experiences – acting as an accelerant to turn nascent ideas into tangible artifacts.

What You'll Do

Use your technical and interaction skills to advance the boundaries of how people use our service now and in the future
Explore ambiguous spaces and experiences using design thinking at breadth and depth – from strategic vision to polished interactions
Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and researchers to discover and prototype new product experiences for our users
Use your full range design skills to design, research, prototype and implement interaction ideas
Develop and iterate rapid models of proposed design solutions for the purposes of communication and evaluation
Design flows and visuals
You will think beyond incremental features and help design paradigm shifts for the future of deep audio experiences
Be a culture carrier, mentoring junior designers in honing their craft

Who You Are:

You have 6+ years of experience prototyping products in a 0-1 environment
Relevant work experience as a UI/Interaction designer and / or designing interactive features in games with knowledge to define how an experience should look and feel based on understanding people’s needs
Experience solving ambiguous challenges
You use appropriate prototyping tools to show how a particular flow or interaction will work
You have impeccable craft
You have experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments
You thrive collaborating with other designers and partnering with product managers, engineers, and researchers
You bring a playfulness to your work and to the people you work with
