As we scale up, we are looking for someone who has been here before: someone who has experience growing a team, improving processes, and keeping usability at the forefront of everything we ship. This person can see the big picture of our product vision and keep the team aligned as they work to solve problems to realize that vision, and understands the tools and processes needed. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Designers and Researchers to design solutions to customer problems across our entire product 
  • Formalize our research and design process for both big bets/new features and smaller, ongoing usability improvements
  • Maintain an end-to-end view of our offering including its strengths, areas of opportunity, and how all of the products and features fit together as we grow
  • Collaborate closely with counterparts in Product Management and Engineering on ideas that will help us solve problems and achieve our goals
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Success, Support, and Marketing to ensure that the solutions are understood across the organization

What You’ll Bring:

  • 6+ years of Product Design experience, encompassing both UX and UI
  • 2+ years experience leading and growing a Product Design team in an agile environment for a SaaS business
  • A deep understanding of modern usability principles and how great design can be used to solve challenging problems in simple ways
  • A keen eye for great design and an intuitive sense of what makes for a delightful user journey
  • The ability to manage a distributed team across multiple time zones, utilizing our communication and collaboration tools
  • Bonus: a degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline
