Product Design Lead - Europe

Plaid’s Europe team is a vertically integrated group, responsible for identifying new product opportunities for Plaid in Europe and bringing them to market. Plaid’s UK & Europe team works with some of the biggest and most exciting fintechs, including Kraken, Moneybox and Shares; and globally some of the world's largest companies including Microsoft, Tesla and Google. In this position, you will be part of the “startup within a startup” that’s growing the future of fintech for the UK & European markets.

We’re looking for an experienced Product Design Lead to join our team in Europe. As the only product designer in Europe, you'll have ownership over the design of all products and services offered in Europe with the full support of the broader Design team in the US. You will work with cross-functional partners to learn from customers, identify new opportunities, and validate them. You will design consumer and customer-facing interfaces for Plaid’s products in Europe, including Plaid’s account verification solution, bank payment solution, and new ideas that are being developed for the Lending vertical. You will help customers to design and ship compliant, usable, and delightful experiences that reflect our knowledge of best practices in the industry. And you’ll help the team drive the product strategy by visualising concepts and ideas that push the boundaries of our collective thinking
