The role:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Design intern eager to learn about Product, UX/UI, Interaction Design and related fields, interested in gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced product development environment.

Joining TheFork Design team, you will become part of a diverse and rich environment, which will contribute to your personal and professional growth.

During your internship you will work closely with our experienced design team on our B2C (Diners Experience) product and have the opportunity to work on real projects that have an impact on millions of users. You will support the team in designing and improving the user experience of new and existing features. Creating flows, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes and UX/UI specifications to visualize the functionality and design concept. Additionally, you will have the chance to support user testing, collect feedback to measure impact, and improve the usability of design solutions.

Working with fellow Product Designers, UX Researchers, Content Designers, as well as Product Managers, Software Engineers and internal stakeholders, you will participate in a cross functional collaborative processes which we use to generate and evaluate ideas and product solutions, aligned with customer needs and business goals.

You are:

• A problem solver, with ideas that challenge the ordinary, together with the drive and the guts to bring them to life.
• Passionate about User Experience design, Product innovation and Technology.
• Interested in being a part of the whole Design Thinking process, from user insights to prototyping and testing.
• Comfortable presenting your work and approach to your team and colleagues.
• Someone with a here-to-help attitude, who thrives working in teams and communicating with team members.

Qualifications:

• Student or recently graduated in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction and/or relevant field of study.
• Good knowledge of general UX principles and methodologies.
• Working / academic experience in using design and collaborative tools such as Figma and Figjam.
• Creative thinking and an eye for detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Good level English - Italian is a plus!
