Role

Glean is looking for a passionate and driven product design intern for Summer 2025. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, and product managers, working on innovative AI products that shape the future of work. This is a hybrid 12-week internship based in Palo Alto, CA.

What You'll Do

• Join the product design team, collaborating with product designers, design systems, content design, user research, product managers, and engineers to deliver features from end to end
• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand customer needs and translate those insights into solutions that solve real problems for knowledge workers in organizations
• Design and prototype user flows and interactions quickly to assess viability and partner with engineers to ship those ideas
• Uphold high standards for design craft and product quality, contributing to the design system, team processes, and critique
• Present design work regularly to stakeholders, gathering feedback to continuously improve product development and design quality.

What We're Looking For

• Students with a graduation date of Spring 2026 or those pivoting from an unrelated field into product design
• Prior internship, work experience, or projects demonstrating a strong foundation in design principles, interaction design, and user-centered design processes
• A team player with a strong desire to learn and ownership mentality who’s comfortable working in a fast paced, data-driven environment
• A passion for AI and technology, with a curiosity to explore how design intersects with generative AI and LLM products.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Someone to join us on site, 3 days a week in Glean’s Palo Alto office

Monthly Compensation:

• Base salary: $8,000
