The team
Our Product & Program Management teams work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-border group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch – all while focusing on and advocating for what’s best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market.

This position
DocuSign is seeking a Product Design Intern to help us build new products and expand into new markets. As the Product Design Intern, you will solve complex problems that go far beyond eSignature and design outstanding product experiences for millions of users around the world. You are an enthusiastic designer who is hungry for a challenge and eager to make an impact and will play a critical role in realizing DocuSign's vision of driving digital transformation for businesses around the world!

This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Product Design Manager and is designated Remote.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the design process, pushing yourself to take chances and explore big ideas before narrowing in on feasible, inventive solutions that consider the small details
• Know how our partners work, including product management, engineering, user research and tech writers
• Work on a project that is tailored to your interests and skill set, with potential deliverables including storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect visual assets for web and mobile
• Work with partners in multiple time zones
• Participate in team critiques by presenting work and providing thoughtful feedback on projects others are working on
• Work within DocuSign’s design system to maintain consistency across the ecosystem
• Utilize all available data points at your disposal, such as analytics and user research
• Contribute to a creative, supportive culture for the entire UX Design team

Basic qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or above in a design-related field
• Experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud
• Online portfolio of your work (add website and/or upload work samples to system when applying, if not on resume)
• This role is not eligible for sponsorship

• Talented designer who wants to learn more about the dynamic nature of dreaming big, yet working within constraints to deliver products that people love
• An interest in all facets of UX design, from interaction and visual design to prototyping and user research
• Natural communicator who clearly articulates design decisions
• Curious, open-minded and ego-free, with a growth mindset who thrives on continuous learning
• Personal motivation and drive to get things done in a dynamic, rapid growth environment

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado hourly pay range for individuals pursuing an undergraduate degree: $38/hour - 39/hour and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits. Colorado hourly pay range for individuals pursuing a graduate degree: $41/hour - 43/hour and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
