Product Design Intern (3 Month Contract)
We’re ushering in a new era of financial services. While traditional banking products rely on outdated technology, innovative solutions are being built from scratch. We are looking for an Intern product Designer who can simplify how individuals are meant to build wealth.
You will:
- Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and product managers to create intuitive and engaging experiences for our customers
- Contribute to the design of new features and improvements across Shakepay’s products, from concept to final execution
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine and improve the user experience
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that bring ideas to life
- Learn and grow alongside a team of experienced designers in a supportive and fast-moving environment
Must have:
- A portfolio showcasing design work that demonstrates strong visual and interaction skills
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools
- A passion for crafting intuitive user experiences
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take feedback and iterate on designs
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a fast-growing team
Nice to have:
- Experience with user research and usability testing
- An understanding of design systems and how to apply them
- Curiosity about bitcoin and financial technology
