About the role
When dealing with payments at scale, every transaction counts. The Payment Performance team interacts with all of the Payment Processing teams to introduce optimization layers, in the goal of always increasing our Authorization & Acceptance Rate. It is at the core of staying on top of our competition with the best performing products.
The Payment Performance team also runs a number of initiatives aimed at coaching our internal teams and merchants around payments, creating one of the most competitive end to end offers on the market. As a Principle Product Manager, you will bring to the team structure and vision thanks to your broad knowledge of payments, owning every step of the product delivery lifecycle, and impacting the whole merchants portfolio of Checkout.com.

About You

  • 5+ years of Product experience in the Payments space, working with various partners like card schemes or Payment Service Providers
  • Authorization rates, ISO8583 and Exemptions optimizations should be of no secret to you
  • You think from the customer perspective and are always vigilant of the desired experience
  • Data driven, you clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them 
  • Ability to build bridges across the organization with high EQ and influencing skills
  • Effective communicator: you can get others excited

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead a team of Product Managers and Engineers through all stages of the Product Life Cycle (Discovery, Delivery, Execution, Iteration)
  • You’ll bring your experience to the teams to bring awareness and expertise of Payments
  • Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery
  • Perform competitor analysis to determine industry trends and differentiating factors
  • Work with stakeholders around the business to obtain their buy-in and collaboration and to generate momentum for your products
  • Work with an agile mindset
  • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers
