The Role

Responsible for the experience and design strategy for the entire group, the Head of UX leads and inspires the entire team of experienced designers (UX) to create, execute the front and back design strategy, as part of the user experience design projects developed for Veepee (web / mobile / tablet) across all Veepee markets (8 countries in Europe).

Management, design strategy and UX conception are his main responsibilities. With good leadership, she/he will be responsible for setting up the organization, mentoring, assuring the quality of projects and solutions to meet the challenges of the business. It must respond to business and IT issues and needs, while taking into account user issues. UX & UI expert, passionate about design, she/he must have a developed creative thinking.

The studies, collection and understanding of user feedback are one of the key data for him/her. She/he will be a real communicator to exchange with his teams and all stakeholders in order to find solutions in collaboration with them.

Main activities

• Provide strong creative concepts aligned with the brand’s universe, respecting the constraints of briefs, member expectations and the needs of the Marketing CRM

• Conduct the UI/Artistic design of our interfaces

• Implement the necessary tools for the proper construction of an UI Design strategy/Group interfaces charter

• Meet marketing needs taking into account the evolution of the products

• Assure the respect of the charter and quality of our brand

• Stay up-to-date with new technologies, trends, methodologies, tools and competitive intelligence in the market

Your profile

• Bac + 4 minimum in UX Design / Ergonomics / Web Design / Psychology / Development

• > 5 years in a similar position / Lead Artistic Direction / Lead UI Designer

• Fluent professional English AND French on both, spoken and written levels

• You must also be willing to travel frequently to Veepee's main headquarters in Saint-Denis, Paris

Technical Competencies

• Transversal management

• Mastery of creative animation techniques

• Design: creative process, monitoring and implementation of the entire production chain

• Design Software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma

• Understanding and use of a brand's graphic charter

• Understanding and using UI sharing libraries

• Understanding of the basic principles of ergonomics

• Definition of the information architecture

• Understanding and deployment of UX and business data: brief, wireframes, UX and data analysis, personas, consumers journey...

• Organization of workshops

• Knowledge of web and mobile development

• Knowledge of interface ergonomics
