Principal Technical Product Manager, Care

Alto's Care team's vision is to simplify the prescription processing process. We enable patients to schedule their medication by the time they leave the doctor's office, confident they are getting the best price and service. The team automates and streamlines critical parts of the clinical process once Alto receives a new prescription - prescription intake, clarifications, billing, and validation - all are upstream activities for fulfillment and delivery.

You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to align on the vision and execution of a set of products that are essential to Alto Pharmacy's ability to provide exceptional pharmacy services at scale. As a Principal Technical Product Manager, you will ensure Alto's success in delivering unmatched pharmacy services and invent how pharmacies operate in the 21st century.

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years experience in product or program management, preferably in healthcare, operations, or logistics
• 8+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
• Background working and collaborating with engineering teams
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience in compiling and effectively communicating business plans, technical proposals, and product roadmaps to stakeholders at all levels
• Superior written and verbal communication skills and experience collaborating cross functionally with stakeholders and other partners

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Technical background, MBA or equivalent work experience preferred
• Experience building products in the area of healthcare, health, or e-commerce preferred
• Startup and entrepreneurial experience preferred

• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., phone conversations)
• Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Sedentary work: Sitting most of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Walking and standing are required only occasionally. 

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $180,722 - $225,903*

*Salary ranges for remote candidates working outside of tier 1 markets can be subject to regionalized compensation based on their respective work location.

Commission Eligible: No

Equity Eligible: Yes.

Travel: Yes - Required up to 20% of the time. 

Location: Remote (San Francisco or Seattle preferred) 

Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: Washington, California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, and New York.
