We are looking for a passionate, hands on, and data-driven Principal Product Marketer to join the marketing team and help steer go to market strategy for our core platform and related releases. In this role, you’ll shape the product narrative, positioning, and messaging, feeding back into product strategy, and ensuring that our products resonate with our target audience of developers, technical decision-makers, and enterprise customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Craft Positioning & Messaging: Create compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Netlify in the marketplace and resonates with developers, technical decision-makers, and enterprise buyers.
  • Conduct Market Research: Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy, identify trends, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Enable the Sales Team: Develop and deliver sales enablement tools, such as product decks, one-pagers, battle cards, and training materials, to empower the sales team to effectively communicate Netlify’s value propositions.
  • Develop High-Impact Content: Collaborate with demand and content marketing to produce product-related content, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and webinars that drive engagement and product adoption.
  • Collect and Leverage Customer Insights: Use customer feedback, data, and insights to refine product messaging and improve the customer experience across the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to ensure product marketing efforts are aligned with product development and customer needs.
  • Track Performance: Define key metrics to measure the success of product marketing initiatives, and continuously optimize strategies and tactics based on data-driven insights.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Extensive Experience: A breadth of product marketing experience, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS or developer-centric products. Experience in the web development or cloud platform space is highly preferred.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to lead successful go-to-market strategies for complex products in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on execution and results.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform and refine marketing strategies.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams, managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and achieve goals.
  • Adaptability: Comfort navigating ambiguity and thriving in a rapidly changing environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Customer-Centricity: A deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those insights into effective product marketing strategies.
