Principal Product Manager for Customer Identity & Security

Toast’s Foundation Product Team is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager who will lead two critical areas of our infrastructure platform; Customer Identity and Security.

Customer Identity is a key component integrated into every aspect of Toast’s product offering. As part of this role, you will be driving initiatives to ensure seamless authentication and authorization platform tooling that works with our suite of software and hardware products.

Security is built into everything we do at Toast and keeping our platform compliant and secure is our highest priority. If you have experience with PCI and SOX compliance and are passionate about the security for our customers then this could be the role for you.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Create the long term platform strategy for user authentication and authorization
• Prioritize initiatives across all lines of business within Toast for customer identity and access management
• Communicate and manage expectations with our stakeholders and customers for the identity platform
• Identify areas of opportunity to streamline and seamlessly integrate security and compliance into every aspect of the platform
• Prioritize security and compliance initiatives, and manage and mitigate any risk to the business
• Gain stakeholder commitment to prioritize initiatives across all platform teams and ensure delivery of the highest priorities

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

• Passionate about security and protecting Customers using our products and services
• Deep understanding of user authentication and authorization
• Experience with PCI, SOX and SOC2 compliance
• Understanding of security platforms and tooling
• Experience driving company wide adoption of platform tooling and best practices
• Outcome focused Product management experience with skills in user research, industry research and product frameworks
• Understanding of Cloud technologies and AWS in particular
• Technical background and experience is a must for this role
• BSc in Computer Science, CompEng or equivalent technical field
