The Opportunity
We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead two critical data platform teams that power Toast's entire engineering and analytics ecosystem. You'll own the roadmap for:
OLAP Platform — The real-time data backbone that enables Toast engineers to build faster and more effectively. This platform delivers low-latency, highly available, real-time data access across the company, directly accelerating how quickly we can ship features for our restaurant customers.
Advanced Analytics Platform — The offline data infrastructure serving data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams company-wide. You'll create reusable data primitives that scale across the organization, eliminating redundant work and unlocking new analytical capabilities.
What You'll Do
Your mission is to identify high-leverage opportunities where thoughtful platform investments can meaningfully accelerate development velocity across Toast. Rather than building one-off solutions, you'll craft general-purpose capabilities that multiply the productivity of dozens of teams.
You'll partner with a diverse set of stakeholders, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, backend engineers, product analysts, engineering managers, and fellow product managers, to understand their needs, prioritize ruthlessly, and deliver platform features that create exponential value.
