How you’ll make an impact

As a Principal Product Manager in the AI team, you will be responsible for bringing a step function change to the experience across Xero’s portfolio of products leveraging the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. You will have a deep understanding of the latest advances in AI/ML, products and customers(external or internal), and the technical stack required to bring these to life for Xero’s customers.

You’ll drive the product strategy, articulate into clear roadmaps, and own delivery and execution along with a talented team of engineers, designers, researchers, and other product managers.

What you’ll do

  • Confidently execute core product management role responsibilities including identifying customer problems and definitions solutions to test, developing and managing product roadmaps or strategies, and developing product release strategies.
  • Develop and communicate a clear and compelling vision for AI products and how they can solve customer problems at Xero.
  • Craft and execute a strategic roadmap to power intelligent experiences across the various products at Xero serving small businesses globally.
  • Drive innovation and excellence in AI product development, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with design, product engineering and AI engineering teams to ensure the successful development and launch of AI solutions.
  • Leverage relevant testing methodologies to measure the impact of changes against key business metrics, informing future product development

What you'll bring with you

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related)
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on AI or data-driven products
  • Prior experience leading a small team of PM's
  • 3+ years building ML apps at scale
  • Experience successfully delivering complex, large-scale products
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for technology, data, and innovation
