This team is charged with inspiring the entire company by shaping Asana's bold, long-term vision for AI-enabled solutions - while simultaneously identifying and de-risking our biggest strategic bets in this space. This high-impact, high-visibility role will directly influence Asana's evolution, requiring exceptional strategic leadership, deep customer empathy, and the ability to transform ambitious ideas into reality through cross-functional partnership. We're searching for someone who can navigate ambiguity, think at a transformative scale, and propel Asana towards new frontiers in the AI era.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.

  • Drive high-impact, strategic initiatives from conception to launch through cross-functional partnership
  • Make tough prioritization decisions balancing customer, business, and technical considerations
  • Develop thought-provoking perspectives on how AI/ML and emerging technologies can enhance Asana's offerings
  • Explore unconventional ideas and challenge assumptions to help unlock new product frontiers
  • Earn buy-in from stakeholders and inspire teams with exceptional communication and storytelling abilities

About you

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including driving strategic, high-impact initiatives
  • Proven entrepreneurial skills with a blend of vision, execution, and grit to traverse ambiguous problem spaces and cut through complexity.
  • Exceptional at breaking down ambiguous problems and driving towards clarity using structured thinking
  • Excellent customer empathy. Ability to deeply understand user needs as well as intuitively guide solutions towards highly usable, adoptable experiences. You love spending time with customers and iterating on product solutions with them.
  • Passionate about the future of AI/ML and loves consuming the latest research and trends
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities to inspire stakeholders. Concise clear guidance (verbal and written) is a strength of yours.
  • Track record of earning trust and buy-in while partnering across functions and groups.
  • Comfortable making tough tradeoffs and prioritization decisions in a dynamic environment
