Principal Product Designer (Viator)

What you’ll do: 

• Encourage and guide the team to effectively work towards a significant vision.  

• Represent UX considerations in broader team strategy and operations and contribute to decisions on behalf of the full team, including advocating for investments in UX quality.  

• Lead multiple projects across the product lifecycle, set the vision for user experience, and present design rationale in a convincing manner  

• Partner closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate user goals into elegant, memorable design solutions  

• Break down open-ended opportunities into actionable next steps; realize ideas with the appropriate level of detail and fidelity at every phase  

• Ensure designs and user interfaces deliver core brand strategy and vision  

• Operate across projects with different speeds and effectively balance big thinking and timely execution 

 
What you have:  

• 8+ years' experience designing across mobile and web at consumer-focused brands or agencies 

• A proven history of designing high-quality digital products that have achieved measurable results, showcasing the depth and range of your design leadership capabilities. 

• Passion for design systems and data-informed product design 

• You have a strong portfolio of design projects.  

• You can manage high work volumes, process multiple projects simultaneously, and follow up on projects with a strong sense of urgency.  

• You are collaborative and organized with strong communication skills  

• Experience in Travel Industry is a plus
