Your role?
Tackle convoluted problems and develop clean, stable solutions that scale. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for designing and implementing elegant software solutions. You would also be intimately familiar (and up to date) with your development ecosystem for making sound decisions when it comes to choosing the right tool or library for the job.
Your responsibilities?
In this role you’ll be:
Be part of a growing team of currently 6 talented designers and UX researchers working with all stages of the design process from discovery to delivery
Be the main driver of a customer-centric experience, aligning all product areas into one seamless and holistic platform and identify synergies between product features and areas
Be responsible for the design vision, exploring new opportunities and regularly build and share designs that inform and inspire internal stakeholders
Manage multiple and complex projects and transform abstract concepts into concrete, tangible solutions
Be a source of inspiration on craft and execution of design
Within 1 month you'll:
Understand how Juni works, get integrated with the design team, and hit the ground running when it comes to your role
Understand our customers and their needs
Audit and challenge ongoing design projects
Within 3 months you'll:
Other crew members say they’re learning a lot and are more productive because of you
Own tasks and deliver on them autonomously
Challenge and improve existing designs
Within 6 months you'll:
Lead the exploration of new ideas with designers, product managers and the founders
Plan and build a design vision on a recurring basis
Elevate the processes of the design team and being a source of inspiration
Minimum Qualifications:?♀️
7+ years of experience as a UX & UI Designer with a strong focus on digital products
You have a passion for understanding our customers and bringing their voices into the design and development process
You have a great understanding of product and business and are able to communicate how value can be delivered to customers with the help of design
You have a keen interest in consumer-facing products, finance, ecommerce, or related fields
You can create both conceptual and production-ready designs
You are proactive and are able to manage your time efficiently
You are a strong communicator, articulating your ideas and decisions verbally and visually
You are highly proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe CC Suite
You have a strong portfolio with relevant work that demonstrates both your visual as well as problem-solving capabilities
An ability to proactively plan and structure bigger (re)design initiatives with stakeholders across functions and teams.
