We're on a mission to empower modern teams to build better user experiences by testing and learning rapidly with real users. To do this, we've partnered with the world's biggest design tools, including Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, Sketch, and Marvel. We power over 60,000 brands globally, including IBM, Logitech, Pipedrive, Uber, Greenpeace, and Braze.

We're a fully remote team working across 35+ countries. You'll be joining a passionate team whose resumes include Canva, Figma, GitLab, Google, InVision, Typeform and Zendesk.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support, coach, and inspire our Growth Product Design team. Develop career development opportunities for your direct reports while practicing radically candid feedback with team members, peers, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate design work across the Growth group, including acquisition, monetization, and activation goals. Collaborate with other disciplines in marketing, product, and engineering to prioritize design work across our product portfolio.
  • Collaborate to building our Experience Design leadership practices, such as development frameworks, OKRs, measurement scorecards, and processes to build UI at scale. Help us raise the bar of quality for design deliverables.
  • Advocate for how design and UX best practices influence users’ behaviors and can make Maze’s acquisition and retention goals effective.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years managing Product Design teams in modern, user-centric organizations
  • Proven expertise at analyzing deep user experience problems and coaching teams to deliver aligned to high-quality standards
  • Knowledgeable about design and research best practices, including Discovery and Delivery frameworks for agile development cycles
  • Demonstrated dependable verbal, written communication, and documentation skills
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, beautiful and functional products at scale

GOALS YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OR OWN

  • Optimize our acquisition, monetization, and activation goals by introducing UX mechanisms that benefit our multi-functional Growth team’s goals.
  • Set, track, and maintain Experience Design goals. Help us develop industry’s best practices and delight customers with excellent design solutions.
  • Scale your team, while developing members throughout their professional career. Help us build a world-class design team.
