Lead UX Researcher (Studio) job at Dapper

We are looking for a seasoned UX Research Leader to join our fast growing Product Design Team at Dapper Labs. As a Lead UX Researcher, you will sit within the Product Design Team and collaborate very closely with our multidisciplinary partners across all our existing products (NBA Top Shot, NFL All Day, UFC Strike) and more. You will help each product clearly understand our personas, identify opportunities that exists and generally shepherd best practices to ensure that experiences meets the needs of our users.As needs grow, you will shape a UXR team, whether it is launching new studies, managing external vendors, sourcing and implement new tooling or bringing in new talent to continue to build insight-driver user and product experiences.

Responsibilities:

Grow and develop a UX Research practice from scratch
Lead, coach and enable Product Designers on how to best leverage UX Research to ensure success with new features
Disseminate insights from studies to enhance our understanding of user needs
Brutally prioritize and guide research initiatives across all our product areas
Champion and evangelize research at Dapper Labs, helping people understand its value to our overall product experience
Partner with Product Management
Be creative on how to best allocate time across all the Products, leveraging research vendors to augment the work of you and your team
Recruit, hire, onboard and manage future UX Researchers as we grow our this discipline

A little about you

5+ years of relevant experience in UX Research for digital tech products
Self-starter who can manage multiple people and projects in a fast-paced environment and stay focused when faced with changing requirements
Inspiring portfolio that demonstrates experience managing processes, projects, and shipping products that meet the needs of a large user base
Experience working remotely with partners across different time zones
Experience collaborating with Product Management, Design, User Research and Engineering
Experience using Figma and Github
Strong interest in NFT products, sports and/or gaming is a major plus
