The Role  
As a Lead, User Researcher at Fantasy, you’ll think beyond ordinary to ship world-class products for world-leading organizations. You will collaborate with talented teams to create experiences that millions of people not only use — but love. 

Launch digital products and services with world-leading organizations
You’ll work with the world’s most forward-thinking companies, including the likes of Netflix, Spotify, Asana, Tesla, The Academy of Motion Pictures, Dolby, Ancestry, Salesforce, and many others. You’ll work across diverse industries and varying form factors, including automotive, luxury, travel, operating systems, website ecosystems, voice recognition software, artificial intelligence, and so much more. 

Craft experiences that people love

  • A Lead User Researcher will design the process end-to-end covering upfront generative discovery insight, through prototyping, into detailed design work. You’ll set and help teams execute against the principles that create great, human-centered products.

Work with forward-thinking organizations

  • Planning, designing, and leading research strategy and programs that support business goals and lead to innovative solutions and best-in-class end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Conducting a broad range of research methods and design techniques, including experience benchmarking, experience maps, rapid iterative studies, usability assessments, surveys, card sorting, and participatory design sessions
 .
  • Validating product concepts and designs to help drive product requirements.
  • Sharing stories of real customers and how they work through behavioral personas, customer journey maps, and other storytelling artifacts to build compassion in cross-functional teams.
  • Effectively communicating research findings and actionable, prioritized recommendations for product management, UX design, engineering, marketing, and executive decision-makers.

Experience / Key Personal Qualities

  • 7+ years of professional experience in user research.
  • A proven track record leading with positivity and inspiration.

  • Ability to lead user research projects end-to-end with minimal supervision. 
  • Experience in a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with teams across the client and their external agencies.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual/presentational skills.
