About the job:

As the Lead Product Operations Manager - Global Payroll, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our global payroll product. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to identify and address product-related challenges. Your expertise in product operations and operational excellence will contribute to the overall success of our payroll solution.

What you will enjoy working on:

  • Leading large cross-functional projects: You will take charge of driving and managing significant projects aimed at enhancing our product. Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders will be essential in achieving project goals.

  • Collecting, quantifying & prioritizing product-related challenges: You will actively gather and evaluate feedback from users, quantify challenges, and prioritize them for consideration by the product and engineering teams. Your insights will shape the future development of our payroll product.

  • Seeking information and building the product: You will proactively seek information to solve conceptual problems and actively contribute to building and refining our product. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in understanding user needs and translating them into product improvements.

  • Driving GTM and global rollouts: You will be responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy and leading global rollouts of our payroll product. Your strategic thinking and project management abilities will ensure successful launches and adoption across different markets.

  • Identifying root causes and architecting solutions: You will investigate and analyze issues related to the payroll product, identifying their root causes and designing effective solutions. Your problem-solving skills and technical acumen will enable you to tackle complex challenges.

  • Designing and implementing operational systems and processes: You will contribute to the design and implementation of sophisticated operational systems and processes that optimize the efficiency and scalability of our payroll operations. Your operational expertise will drive operational excellence and streamline workflows.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or an operational role closely aligned with product and engineering teams.

  • 2+ years of experience managing a high-performing team.

  • Passion for delivering an outstanding user experience and the ability to develop a deep understanding of complex products and their use cases.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, BI tools (SQL, Looker, Snowflake, Datadog, Excel/Sheets) and superior presentation skills

  • Strong empathy for user problems and the ability to build effective solutions that address their needs.

  • Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - Problem-focused and solutions-oriented mindset, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on approach.

  • General technical knowledge of software development processes, particularly designing and building payroll systems, is a significant advantage.

  • Strong SQL skills and superior presentation skills to effectively communicate insights and recommendations.
