About the role 

We’re looking for a Lead Product Marketing Manager who excels at delivering differentiated messaging, creating integrated go-to-market strategies, owning cross-functional product launches, partnering with sales for prescriptive enablement.  

This candidate will be responsible for understanding the market opportunity, segmenting our customer and user base, evaluating their pain points and needs, and mapping the user journey, all while distilling key trends into actionable insights for the business. They will also be responsible for owning the full lifecycle of a go-to-market and product launch process, in partnership with the Product, Engineering, Marketing, Growth, Brand, Content, Customer Support, and Sales and Customer Success teams. 

A successful candidate has a strong understanding of IT organizations in small-mid-sized organizations their pain points, and how to communicate and market to them. Somebody who is highly organized, detail-oriented, excels at stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership, can seamlessly shift between strategic and tactical elements, and is well-versed in the latest and greatest customer research, product marketing, and go-to-market tools and tactics. The candidate is a collaborative problem solver and self-starter who has driven results in high growth companies. 

Location

This position will be located in our New York City office in a hybrid capacity with 3 days in the office. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and Target Persona:  Partner with product management to execute research our ICP. Translate that research into actionable customer for use by sales and marketing.  
  • Create Product Messaging and Positioning: Develop clear and persuasive messaging that highlights the unique value of Dashlane’s products. Craft compelling value propositions tailored to various stakeholders.
  • Develop Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates. Ensure successful product launches by managing marketing efforts and sales enablement activities.
  • Establish Sales and Customer Success Enablement: Provide teams with the necessary tools and training to effectively communicate the value of our products to prospects and customers. Partner with sales to create and support plays with messaging, sales tools and training.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert: Have a pulse on the cybersecurity market, monitoring news and trends. Develop deep knowledge of customer problems and how our solution solves them. Understand the competitive landscape from a business and product perspective and identify points of differentiation. Share your knowledge internally and externally in webcasts and podcasts.
  • Innovate New Go-to-Market Processes: Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement new or refined processes aimed at streamlining and scaling our go-to-market efforts.

Requirements  

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B product marketing or go-to-market functions

  • Experienced marketing to IT and Security buyers in small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Deeply interested in cybersecurity trends and the evolving business needs it drives.
  • A holistic thinker with thorough understanding of a customer's journey and touch-points.
  • Practiced at leveraging data, analytics, insights and metrics to propel go-to-market strategy.
  • A strong cross-functional leader able lead directly and indirectly through influence.
  • Experienced working effectively in a heavily cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
  • A confident writer and presenter.
  • Highly effective communicator, who interacts with clarity and purpose, and who has experience interacting at all levels of the organization.
  • An ability to create a positive and enjoyable work environment.

Salary Range: $170,000 - $200,000

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at Dashlane. We also include equity in all compensation packages and believe 100% of Dashlaners should have an option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from what we hope will be a lot of upside growth.

Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Dashlaners.  We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Dashlane to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
